Steele HS Private Lesson Program

The Private Lesson Program at Steele High School offers students the chance to receive personalized, high-quality instruction that complements their classroom learning. Our teachers are experts in their instruments, many of whom are professional musicians with advanced degrees in performance. These lessons are a valuable resource for students and are strongly encouraged.

• Encouragement for All Students: ALL students are encouraged to participate in individualized private lessons for musical growth

• Qualified Instructors: Teachers are screened and interviewed by the district to ensure top-tier instruction.

• Weekly Lessons: Lessons are given weekly, ideally during band classes to minimize disruption to the student’s schedule.

• Flexible Scheduling: If before or after-school lessons are necessary, efforts will be made to avoid conflicts with marching rehearsals, sectionals, or other activities.
