The Steele Color Guard is a dynamic and essential part of the renowned Steele Band program. During the fall, the Color Guard performs alongside the talented musicians of the Steele Marching Band, bringing the music to life through captivating visuals. As the storytellers of the ensemble, the Color Guard uses expressive choreography and the spinning of various equipment to complement the music, adding depth and energy to every performance.

In the spring, the Color Guard takes their talents indoors for Winter Guard, where they compete as their own independent team, performing to recorded music. Steele is proud to showcase both Varsity and Junior Varsity Winter Guard teams, with the season running from December through April.

Outside of marching and Winter Guard competitions, our Color Guard members represent Steele at football games, pep rallies, parades, and various school events throughout the year. They bring excitement and school spirit to every occasion, embodying the heart of the Steele Band program.
